We decided to hike Manoa Falls and also see the arboretum that is right next door. we pull into the parking lot and it begins to poor the rain...hmm....lets wait a few minutes because it usually doesn't rain for long in hawaii..yeh...10 min later we decide that maybe with the canopy we won't get that wet. yep....way wrong. by the time we reached the falls...we were drenched, muddy from knees down, and having a blast! I so think it made for a cooler hike:) i mean don't get me wrong it was way awesome...but i mean temp cool! after traversing the muddy mountainside we went to the arboretum and looked at the plants native to hawaii...i do have to say that i still LOVE the arboretum we have in dayton. if you have never been to Cox Arboretum...you MUST go! Take a blanket, book, MP3 player, and just find a nice grassy spot next to the pond and read and relax! or bring your hiking shoes and walk away! nice trails and soft comfy grass! I think that night we had dinner at Duke's. good fresh seafood! great day in all and lots of wet fun!
